Anne grew up on a mixed farm near St. Brieux, SK. She graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1978 and started working for Dr. Don Pulfer in Stoughton, SK on May 1, 1978. She bought the practice Jan 15,1979 and has enjoyed working in the Stoughton area ever since. Anne has worked extensively with cow-calf producers. She finds dentistry very interesting and has taken extra courses in canine and feline dentistry.
Anne has two wonderful sons and enjoys spending time with them and their families. Anne currently shares her house with her cat, Peanut and the various veterinary students that need a place to stay while they are in Stoughton.
Michelle Anderson was born and raised in Melita, a small farming community in southwest Manitoba. Through many weekend trips to Grandpa’s farm, her love of animals grew. This coupled with her love of science fueled her desire to enter the field of veterinary medicine.
Michelle attained her Bachelor of Science with a major in zoology from Brandon University in 2003. This paved the way for her acceptance into the veterinary medicine program at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. She attained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in June 2007.
Michelle worked in Regina at Lakewood Animal Hospital from 2007 until 2014, and started at Stoughton Veterinary Services in 2015. Her interests include soft tissue surgery and acupuncture. She most recently travelled to Portland, Oregon to attain her Certification in Veterinary Acupuncture through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society in 2012.
Michelle lives in Lampman with her husband, Frank, two cats, Larry Taylor and Trudy, and a mischievous, but loveable dog, Miley. In her spare time Michelle enjoys quadding, running (very slowly), and spending time with family and friends.
Sarah grew up in Colgate, SK on a farm with cows, horses, chickens and various cats and dogs. She grew up showing cattle in Lomond 4-H Beef Club and horses in the Weyburn Light Horse 4-H Club. She always had an interest in animals and knew she would eventually work in a veterinary related field.
After taking a year off after graduation she was then accepted into Animal Health Technology at Lakeland College in Vermilion, AB. She graduated from the AHT program in May of 2009.
Sarah has been in Stoughton since October 2011. Sarah along with her son, own three dogs, two cats, two rats, a bunny and a horse. Sarah spends a lot of her time running her son to various activities or working on the house or garden. Sarah likes to spend her free time playing slow pitch, volleyball, training dogs, riding horses and visiting family or friends.
Emily grew up just outside of Corning on a mixed farm with a wide array of animals (horses, chickens, turkeys, sheep, cows, a llama, cats and dogs to name a few). She showed horses and was active in the Corning Multiple 4-H club throughout school. Emily attended SaskPolytechnic in Saskatoon for Veterinary Technology, graduated in 2016 and started working at the clinic shortly after.
Emily enjoys the large animal aspect of the clinic but also likes working with cats and dogs. She spends many hours training and working with her herd (yes herd…) of horses.
Emily lives on a farm outside of Kennedy with her husband & 2 boys. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her horses, hunting/fishing, and spending time with family & friends!
Kam grew up in Bienfait and despite having no pets growing up she always knew she wanted to work with animals.
Kam graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Old’s College in January 2021 and has been with us ever since.
Kam is now living at the lake with her dogs Kanga and Edna and her boyfriend Mac. Kam loves spending her time outside on the water, golfing, snowmobiling, and playing hockey.
Kylee grew up in Arcola on a purebred polled Hereford farm. She grew up showing cattle in the Arcola/Kisby Beef 4-H club and always knew she wanted to work with animals. She graduated high school in 2019 and attended Sask Poly Tech to get her diploma for Veterinary Technician graduating in the Spring of 2022.
After working with us for a summer and her practicum she decided to rejoin the team in July of 2025.
In her spare time Kylee enjoys spending time with her dogs Ollie and Rigs, riding her horses, and helping on the family farm.
Carley grew up in Carlyle Saskatchewan where she graduated high school in 2021 and jumped at the opportunity to join our team shortly after graduating. Carley grew up around dogs, cats, sheep, and cattle on the family farm so was and easy adjustment to handling them at the clinic. Carley and her boyfriend, Jarred, got their dog, Knox in 2020. When not keeping the shelves stocked at the clinic Carley enjoys going to her parent’s farm on weekends, spending time with family and friends, and doing renovation on their house. In the summer months Carley also enjoys spending her time hunting, boating, fishing, going to the cabin and driving her siblings around.
Before moving to Saskatchewan, Leah and her family raised cattle and other livestock. She has a lifelong love of all things bovine.
Leah is a relatively new resident to the Stoughton Area and before joining the SVS team in March 2025 , she worked as an EA at OceanMan Education Centre.
She lives on a small acreage with her partner, Ivan. Together they're raising their son Jordan and their weimaraner, Nixon. As a family they love doing anything outdoorsy like golfing, camping, bonfires, ice fishing, hunting and family bbqs.
In her spare time Leah likes spending time with her children & grandchildren, shopping, doing anything crafty, baking and gardening.
Susan was born and raised in Estevan where she graduated from the Estevan Comp. School in 1984. With her love of animals, Susan knew she wanted to work with animals. In 1999, she graduated from Woodsvail Dog Grooming School in Leduc, Alberta. She served on the board of directors for the Estevan Humane Society. Susan started her own grooming business in Estevan (Sue's Pet Styling) where she was self-employed for 15 years. During that time, she won 1st place in Estevan's Favourite Groomer Contest! In February 2016 she started working at Stoughton Veterinary Services full time as groomer/boarding attendant. She lives in Stoughton with her 3 beloved pets: Cosmo her dog and two cats, Belle and Neumann.
Abby is a Grade 12 student at Stoughton Central School and before starting work at the clinic, she was a lifeguard for two years ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the pool’s guests. Abby has been with our team for two years and is always excited to see what a day at the clinic will bring.
When she’s not working, or at school she’s usually hanging out with her friends. In the summer she loves going to the lake and spending time at the beach.
After Abby graduates, she’s planning on going to school for veterinary technician.
